BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training - BTEC Level 4 PTTLS (Preparing to Teach in the Life Long learning Sector) Certificate - BTEC Level 4 Professional Qualification 'Understanding and Responding to Disabilities' - Higher Level Teaching Assistant Status as awarded by the TDA (Teacher Development Agency) with expertise in mathematics awarded by West Sussex County Council - RSA Certificate for Literacy and Numeracy Support Assistants

Pricing

Tuition fees start from £30 per hour. Our minimum session duration is 45 minutes (£22.50). If you would prefer a session shorter than 45 minutes this can be arranged and will be charged at £22.50. Fees are payable in advance. Although in most circumstances we do not, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee. Discounts are available for group and block bookings. Junior Maths Tuition

Mike is an experienced mathematics tutor offering mathematics tuition and revision boosters from SATs to GCSE. We teach primary and secondary aged children and adolescents to 'MASTERY' a method now used in schools.

Adults Maths Tuition

We believe that mathematics is an important skill for life. With competition for employment at one its highest levels ever, it is even more important to show employers that you are 'literate in number'.

All You Need To Know About Us

Our aim is to make learning fun and enjoyable and we will work with you at your own pace to enable you to build confidence but also challenge yourself. Acquiring new skills is not always easy and we'll support you as you learn. As parents and qualified professionals we can view learning equally from the world of school, college or home. All of our tutors have been DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked. All of our tuition will be online until further notice.

Mike Gould

Mike offers specialised mathematics tuition and revision boosters for SATs and GCSE, to primary and secondary aged children. He also tutors adult learners in functional skills mathematics. Mike's calm demeanor allows students to work comfortably at their own pace whilst maintaining an appropriate level of challenge.

PRIMARY LEVEL

Games make mathematics more fun, engaging and accessible for learners. Linking maths to real-life situations like using money, weighing, measuring and telling the time makes learning feel purposeful.

SECONDARY LEVEL

We will work with you to build your skills and exam technique as you work towards your GCSE.  

Adults

16+

EMPLOYMENT

Employers always look for qualifications in mathematics. Today a GCSE, or its equivalent Level 2 qualification is almost as important as being able to read and write.

WE SUPPORT

By working with you and your college we can help you to gain the maths skills required for today's workplace. If you're not attending a College, we'd love to meet you.
